Well Tiffany is closer to being done... she will have hair lol :)
I attempted a cat and wasn't happy at all with her so I made another one but it started to look like a tiger! So Tiffany will have a baby tiger with her. And as she grows so will the tiger... I am not sure why I did a young witch but I am actually happy with her , but she looks a little sad.
I still have to paint the base, so it looks like marble! She needs sanding and painting too!! And of course sew (the most dreaded thing) her dress. I am planning on some beads around her neck line... and buttons down the back of her skirt. For some reason this has been a long process. I am having so much fun though, it is a wonderful escape! I hope to finish her very soon. I have a few more days until the dead line!
She looks good! And I like bot felines lol
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha! I sure learned a lot creating her! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower of your blog and saw this on my dashboard! I love your pieces so much and can relate because I too make cats, dogs, fish, etc, but more in a whimsical way. I use clay but cover them with paper mache to help them not break as easily. My big fish are made strickly with paper mache. No molds either on anything.
ReplyDeleteYour work is fabulous, and your dolls...well...WOW!!!
Linda :)
Aww, she's terrific already! Look at that lil expression on her face, too cute! Love the froggie and kitties too. I know what you mean, I'm not a big sewer either. I prefer a little hand stitching, glue and textile hardner! hee hee
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it finished :)
Big hugs
