portrait hand etching on granite

This portrait was very difficult to complete. The original photo was small, dark, and out of focus. I love the way it turned out though. it is completely hand engraved on black granite.
It is finished with enamel paint. thanks for looking!

    Hi Catherine. This portrait is amazing! I can understand the difficulty since I used to do deep carve sandblasting on glass. One wrong move and its over! You have created a truly fine piece.
