ooak Baby mermaid hand sculpted wip

Hello everyone, I am working on a sea horse to go with my sleeping mer-baby. I am having fun creating this little pair! The sea horse is made with a mix of color clay and painted, a few more details and a base and she will be done. I have to decide if I want to use clay for hair or mohair, like the other one shown. This base is decorated with a crab and I am adding clay around the edge to represent seaweed.

Hope you have a great week! Blessings :)

My Son's poem about me :) Catherine

Acrostic Poem

Caring about others

Artistic in every way

Thoughtful about all work

Hard worker at everything

Earning everything by hard work

Reaching for the stars

Intelligent in different ways

Never quitting at anything

Exactly Perfect for me

This is one of five poems my son wrote for an assignment. I really never knew what he thought of me until I read this :)

A drive through the Valley

I am so inspired by nature and fortunate to live close to the Brandywine Valley. Beautiful hills and valleys have motivated me since I was a child and my father would drive through this lovely country on Sunday after going to Church. This day I took my camera! Blessings

One of a Kind Baby Fairy wip...

I just wanted to share another picture of my baby fairy work in progress. I am going to create a base with flowers and plants for her to sit on. Since I started a full time job this is progressing slower than I wanted. I have been working on angel babies. I have neglected my blog and I am sorry I haven't been here for so long :)

Blessings to all! Cat
