I love this tiny mer-baby, She is my favorite and I am not ready to let her go : )

She was created in August of 2011 and has a hand sculpted flower and her bed is driftwood decorated with beads. Head band is made of wire, shells, ribbons and beads. Her tail is a mix of colored sculpy and hand painted. She is sculpted over wire armature and painted with acrylics.

This is my niece's birthday present. A hand sculpted one of a kind baby mermaid. She has a decorated natural seashell with hand sculpted rose and a pearl. Her hair is mohair and the headband is made of ribbon, wire, tiny seashells, beads, and glitter glue :) Mer-baby measures approximately 3 inches and is painted with acrylic paints. Her tail is colored sculpy with glitter mod-podge.

Here is my Grandmother's 90th birthday present! She loves her dog Jakey. And she loves this sculpt!! I sculpted him from a blend of colored sculpy over wire armature and used black beads for eyes. He is painted with acrylic paints. Measures about 4 inches. This is my first attempt at creating a dog in clay. I had fun and look forward to my next puppy creation!

This new outfit just arrived today and it seems to fit this baby perfectly :) I still have to add pellets and more filling. She is very floppy. The dress set was beautifully made by e bayer davoncreations.

I love it so much !!!

Baby girl is my 110th creation.

Now she needs a name... She was born In February. Doll measures about 9 inches and has glass eyes and real eyelashes. A little while ago I added more clay to her legs making them very chubby. They were too small, I constantly change limbs on my dolls. The proportion is not perfect but the tights fit nicely :)

I am creating these mer-babies for my nieces Emily and Kaylee. I am almost finished and two more to complete. Each one is hand sculpted and painted.

Their head bands were fun to make and include a birthstone. I twisted wire, shells, ribbon and stones or beads... I love the simplicity! I made these Mermaid dolls for girls ages 5- 13 and they all love them!

I plan on adding a few more details like colored sand on the shells etc.... They will be finished soon. I hope you enjoy looking :)

These mer-babies are almost finished... Working on idea... Each one will have some kind of flower or plant with the birthstone included. Still have to make a base for one. Sanding and painting too. These collectibles are for my nieces' birthdays. I hope to get motivated to get them all done soon.

Since i am working full time now, these tiny fish babies are taking some time to finish.

They all have the same expression :) I will try to work on different looks for the next series :)

I am almost finished with my fairy's base! A few more details and it will be done. I will be adding a clear coat. I am also going to add some sparkle and a few beads to the ground and flowers. I still have to decide where the leaves will be attached to the base. At this point the little flowers in the front are the only ones glued in place. So many options...

I love the colors on this. I felt like a child creating this one :)

Hello everyone, I am working on a sea horse to go with my sleeping mer-baby. I am having fun creating this little pair! The sea horse is made with a mix of color clay and painted, a few more details and a base and she will be done. I have to decide if I want to use clay for hair or mohair, like the other one shown. This base is decorated with a crab and I am adding clay around the edge to represent seaweed.

Hi everyone :)

I wanted to share a work in progress. This is my new baby fairy. She is a full sculpt, anatomically correct and sits perfectly on her bottom. The bottom picture is how she began, actually months ago. I was motivated to finish her after participating in my first OWOH giveaway :) She measures 3.5 inches tall. I am still working on her fairy out fit which will be a diaper, headband, and jacket with one of a kind wings of my own design and technique. I was going to attach the wings to her body, but decided she was too cute to put a hole in her back :) I really love the way she is coming along. She also has hand made brown eyes and brown mohair.

This is my new baby Girl #105 sculpt. She is about 7 inches long. I am not finished, I still have to sand her limbs and I may add real eyelashes. This is an outfit given to me by a wonderful friend Ayala Art! Thank you! I hope you like her!

Here she is my first stoneware sculpture! It is so different then polymer clay. I am still waiting for her to dry... I have a good friend who will be firing her and helping me choose the glaze. I have colors in my mind not sure what is available. I do want her to be all one glaze, with experimental colors in blue/greens of course. :) hope you enjoy the wips! Blessings

OOAK new Dragonfly Pendant, Sea horse Ornament, and gift box

This dragonfly pendant was a fun challenge. It is one of a kind sculpted with sculpy and glazed with glitter mod-podge. I can't wait to try another one. I am experimenting, it measures 1 and 3/4 inches.

I love this sea horse ornament, it is not finished, but I love the colors, it looks distressed and old. I was inspired by the old carousal sea horse. I plan on making one that is more dimensional and has a mermaid rider, can't wait!!
And this is another creative box, made from recycled cardboard boxes. I love creating! This box is a travel box for my 100th baby sculpt! Have a nice day!

Work in progress... baby, dragonfly pendant...

I am so bummed, this baby has so many moonies, and I am basically out of clay and no funds for it yet... oh well she is going to be cute, and I will finish her with all the cracks:) Since I could never do another one like her. She is 101 sculpt!
So I had fun making these tiny dragon flies for necklaces or pins. Made from Sculpy. I still have to paint and figure out a design to make them stronger. I had fun experimenting. I will clear coat too for added durability and I am thinking of a polymer clay leaf or wrapped wire, so many ideas going through my head. The one on the right has black beads for eyes!

New Dragonfly Boxes

Each box is one of a kind, the original design was hand etched on marble. Original colors very different. Dragonfly is printed, hand painted, cut and glued to a sponge painted box. Several coats of clear water based sealer has been added.

I create the boxes for my tiny angel and baby ornaments. Now I have to get back to sculpting.

but.... couldn't help myself I made a dragonfly pendant ??? Not finished and still working on ideas!
This original dragonfly is hand etched on black granite. It is very difficult to get a picture so it is tilted. I plan on creating boxes with this design soon. I spent so many years studying the wings of a dragon fly they are not perfect but have a beautiful artistic quality.

These two boxes are not complete... I have a purple dragonfly for the pink box. designs are now glued, and one layer of modpodge is done. Each box is one of a kind. Will post more pics later :)

Hi everyone,

Well Tiffany is closer to being done... she will have hair lol :)

I attempted a cat and wasn't happy at all with her so I made another one but it started to look like a tiger! So Tiffany will have a baby tiger with her. And as she grows so will the tiger... I am not sure why I did a young witch but I am actually happy with her , but she looks a little sad.

I still have to paint the base, so it looks like marble! She needs sanding and painting too!! And of course sew (the most dreaded thing) her dress. I am planning on some beads around her neck line... and buttons down the back of her skirt. For some reason this has been a long process. I am having so much fun though, it is a wonderful escape! I hope to finish her very soon. I have a few more days until the dead line!

ADO Halloween Challenge Witch wip...

Here is my first standing figure. She is a cute little witch! I am having so much fun with her. I do not like sewing, I love glue. I did sew pleats in the skirt. Her costume was sooo much creative fun. I still have a lot of figuring out to finish. Once I started I could not stop until now... She will have a wooden base. I still have a lot of decisions to make. I love the colors in her costume! Her hair is not on either. I will probably glue it on. Now I can't wait to finish her but I have to work my PT job... This sweet baby fits perfect in this one of a kind heart shaped box. Sometimes when I have a sculpting block. I need to create something fun. And they are great for my mini sculptures.
